Any rose can be grown in a container. Larger roses need larger containers.

Extend plant life. In the 2nd winter (3rd winter for pots over 15 litres) shake the compost off the roots. Prune and repot with fresh compost.

Indoor flowering ­ bring pots indoors in bloom, return outdoors afterwards.

Dark coloured pots absorb heat. Compost dries out more quickly.

Use pot-saucers. They are water reservoirs for hot periods and
they keep areas clean.
